Malayalam film crew returns home from Djibouti.


It’s not the latest news of stranded getting back home. With the canceled flights due to the COVID pandemic we had no other option left to return back to our nation, said S.J. Sinu, director of the film. According to the director, there were 74 stranded filmy members who had got stuck during their shooting.

Further added that the crew had completed the shoot by April 15 with the help of Djibouti authority, for the same crew had already reached Djibouti on March 5,” said S.J. Sinu, director.

The crew was staying at a villa in Djibouti for the scheduled plan. Initially, then the plan was of 45 days which git delayed due to pandemic, With the cancellation of international flights in view of COVID-19, we had no other option than staying till the lockdown eased,” said Mr. Sinu.

The producers Jobi P. Sam and his wife Sweety Maria Jobi run a business there in Djibouti that helped the crew to tide over the crisis without much hassle. He further thanked the government authority who looked after properly.

If we look at Mr. Sinu he has directed over 400 episodes of Malayalam tv serials, which shows great consistency in his work. Happiness was clearly glaring on the face of returnees who got back home safely.
