With nearly 12,000 new cases, COVID infections in India on Sunday rose to over 3.2 lakh. The death toll also crossed the 9,000-mark to stand at 9192. While over 1.62 lakh people have recovered, there are nearly 1.5 lakh active cases in the country.
Within a very short duration of time in Unlock phase 1, capital city Delhi saw a steep rise in corona case. The situation grew a concerning cause as the day progressed. Seeing to the situation Home minister Amit Shah held a meeting today to have an overview of the system in Delhi.
As per the latest report, India’s COVID-19 death toll crossed the 9,000-mark on June 13. With a record daily increase making it the world’s ninth-worst hit nation in terms of fatalities now. While Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi reviewed steps to contain the pandemic in areas. So, large numbers of cases are detecting daily as fresh positive cases. It’s not only Delhi who has seen sharp rise but also Maharashtra, Gujrat, and Jharkhand which is new in the list of daily fresh cases.
Really the situation is very as it became already announce that in the month of June and July there would be the greatest increase in the positive cases. But it seems nobody took it seriously and the case is in front of us now. How Delhi deals the situation will be clear within a week.
